Friends of the Youth Council
"All kids need is a little help, a little hope and somebody who believes in them." -Earvin "Magic" Johnson
Become a Friend of the Youth Council. Help support the Council's work which ranges from helping a needy family to pay for electric costs to funding Safe Rides on weekends for the village youth. Your donations, your time, your concern, your involvement, your help, your support are all essential to keep the Council's programs strong and vital. The Council holds an annual Friend's appeal to solicit donations as well as holds other fundraisers such as a Hastings Alumni Evening Pool Party and a Pop-up Shop to sell gently used formal wear. However, private donations are gladly accepted year round and can be sent to: Hastings Youth Council, P.O. Box 64, Hastings-on-Hudson, New York 10706 or via paypal by pressing the Donate button below. The Hastings Youth Council is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent as allowed by the law.

Contribute your time
Join our Youth Council board, volunteer in one of our programs, help organize a new project, donate food supplies to our pantry, offer fresh ideas, or let us know about someone or a family in need. It literally "takes a village" to show interest, to care, and to invest in the future of our young people. Only in this way can they transform into productive and contented adults.

Contribute an opportunity
Give a child a chance at growth by enabling them to have work experience, to be independent financially, and to learn interpersonal and life skills that will aid them in the present and future. Contact our Youth Employment Service (Y.E.S.) to post any seasonal, one-time, or on-going jobs or internships for youth and take advantage of a wonderful community resource while, at the same time, helping our Village youth.
